At K9 GoodLife, we offer expert dog training services that are designed to work with you and your dog to develop skills, increase bonding, learn how to properly communicate with your dog and so much more.
I offer private one-on-one coaching, day programs, and group classes (including workshops and seminars).

I discovered the sport of dog disc in 2017 and have been hooked ever since! I got involved with my own miniature American shepherd named Ullar and Belgian Tervuren named Mufasa. Having two highly capable, yet sensitive sport dogs inspired me to encourage others to come out and play! It has become a true passion to advocate for both dogs and handlers and create safe environments for all to enjoy.

A great passion of mine is hosting and leading group workshops. A safe and goal-oriented group environment can provide an optimal learning opportunity for like-minded dog owners.
My group programs range from basic obedience and skills to more specialized work in programs like Street Smarts, Around Town, Tricks and Confidence, and so many more!
Contact us for an initial assessment, or to inquire about any of our core services.
If you have a special request, send us an email, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. We look forward to hearing from you and learning more about you and your dog!

Dayschool is designed to maintain current training as well as create opportunities for proper socialization and to practice recall. If you are not actively keeping up on your dogs training, you may be required to book private lessons in order to continue with the program.
All dogs must arrive calmly with good leash walking and manners, and will be leaving the same way. This is a training service and that is our number one priority. Absolutely NO greeting in the driveway or on the property unless I ( Sara) have said it is ok.
Dogs who are NOT being trained outside of dayschool, may be subject to a rate increase if their dog's behaviour at school starts to cause disruptions or problems. I ( Sara) will always discuss this with you prior to increase.
Dogs may be taken off property for field trips and training opportunities. If your dog struggles with car rides, is difficult to walk, or is reactive in public, these outing may look different for your dog. Please reach out if you have any questions. Please note, your dog is getting basic training at Day-school. Private lessons are required if YOU would like to learn how to handle your dog in the same scenarios.
Late fees are $5.00 / 5 minutes for Late pickups and drop offs. We have been super lenient with this , so please respect the drop off / pickup windows. This fee will automatically be added to your next invoice.
We do require all day school dogs to come with a sandwich sized bag of high value treats (every day) plus if required any meal they need while in our care. If you would prefer we provide single ingredient treats for your dog an additional 15$ per month can be charged and we will handle providing treats for your dog.
Yes, we require all boarding & day-school students to be crate trained and actively working on training with their dog. This is non- negotiable.
We do not offer refunds. We operate as a pre-paid service. Credits/refunds may be given out with the discretion of Sara . Credits issued for any services, including training sessions, are valid for 6 months from the date of issuance. After 6 months, any remaining credits will be forfeited and cannot be used for future services. Please ensure you use your credits within this timeframe.
Dayschool is invoiced one month ahead and payment is due by the 15th of the previous booked month. Your spot will not be held without payment by the 15th and you may be turned away in the morning of school drop off.
For Dayschool, we require 48 hours notice for any and all credits.
**Emergencies exempted and at the discretion of K9 Goodlife YYJ to determine**
